The painting has started and I'm a little excited and a little weirded out. Surely it'll look better when all of the windows are uncovered, but right now, things are looking a little muddy. Hmmm...

More Cabinets, More Progress

Boys/Guest Bath

We are always surprised at the amount of beautiful work that's been done so quickly when we check in. More cabinets are in and hardware as well! More trim, more concrete prep, more finish work.... Last but not least, the Kroger opened up and is within a walk from our home/ a really quick bike ride. They were selling $1 hot dogs today. Pretty tasty.

Next week they may be able to start painting the exterior and hopefully be ready to prep for landscaping before the nasty weather hits!

PS. The colors in these photos are not exactly true. Scott had some weird filter on his phone going. He says he didn't but everything looks very instagram, right? Not necessarily bad, just different.

Cabinetry

They've started installing cabinetry and it's amazing! Our shell is suddenly turning into a real house! Yeah! The two tone cabinets look great and we're glad we decided to put real wood on the front of the peninsula. It looks better and will wear a lot better too. (you can't see it in these photos of course) We can't wait to see the bathrooms come together as well. Pretty cool!

What a Difference a Day Makes!

We have more floors installed and the tile is close to being done! It's incredible how quickly things have come together. Today they were framing out the sidewalk, patio and driveway. Next week the concrete will be poured and we will be able to actually park on solid ground! The stairs are coming together and a lot of the molding has been installed. It sure does make every room feel so much more finished and cozy. Today I took my paint swatches in and fingers crossed, it looks like the colors will work out. It's hard to pick paint colors for a house with no walls!!!

The wood floors were installed so quickly! We were there on Sat and Tues morning, BAM, done. The tile has started arriving, and with the exception of one wrong pattern, it all looks great!!! (wrong pattern not pictured here)
